Monroe City Manor
City Manor has been serving the needs of the elderly community in
Monroe City since 1977. It is a stockholder owned, 60-bed
Medicare/Medicaid approved skilled nursing facility. Currently 54
residents reside at the facility with a staff of approximately 65
employees. Monroe City Manor has a registered nurse on duty seven
days a week.
A Special Care Unit was added in 1997 to meet the needs of our
Alzheimer residents and for those with special needs. It is a 12
bed locked unit that provides a quieter environment and enables
more one-on-one interaction from our staff.
On-site therapy rehabilitation is available and enables many
residents to return to their own homes. Therapies included speech,
occupational, and physical therapy with staff who really work to
get the resident back to their prior capabilities and beyond in

One of the manor's most appealing assets is their nutritious
menu with daily food choices available. Restaurant style dining
complete with numerous choices available at each meal with
flexible meal times.
Some of the manor's latest improvements have been the addition
of a new concrete parking lot completed in 2008 which has added 20
more parking spaces to the existing lot and the addition of a new
roof completed in 2009.
Monroe City Manor is managed by Redman Consulting in Liberty,
Missouri and is overseen by a board of directors that include:
